Welcome to Brentwood Elementary!
Giving children a strong foundation of knowledge and a positive experience during those first years of elementary school is a responsibility we take to heart. Our school motto -- We always give our personal best! – shows in our committed team of teachers and staff members working toward the same goal: To make sure all children are able to succeed to their full potential.
Our children learn within a community dedicated to meeting the needs of every child. It’s the way we reach that goal that makes Brentwood a very special school.
At Brentwood Elementary we:
- Nurture the curiosity of our children to ensure that they grow into adults who never stop wanting to learn.
- Offer a variety of options for learning. Our multi-age classrooms for grades K-1, 2-3 and 4-5 help children learn at their own level with teachers who teach as a team. Our traditional single-grade classes also work together, using common themes of study.
- Focus on Lifeskills – such as integrity, honesty, friendship, humor and perseverance – that help children form lasting values.
- Draw strength from our highly diverse community, preparing children for an increasingly multi-cultural world.
- Include children with hearing impairments or other special needs in our regular classes. Our students learn from one another and to value people of different abilities.
- Provide the friendly environment of a small neighborhood school in the heart of the Crestview/Brentwood areas. We’re also next to Brentwood city park and pool, where many families gather for playdates after school.
